This chair is part of the design for the new Santa Chiara restaurant at Plaza Raimundo Clar. Santos, responsible for the design, proposed the creation of a chair that would combine two materials we are very familiar with, but that we hadn’t used together until now.
The proposal was to create a stool with a wooden structure and an aluminum backrest. The aluminum, with a "semi-mirror" finish, would give the impression that when the stool is stored, there’s nothing there.
In addition, the design was completed with a shelf at the bottom, intended for people to have a nearby place to leave their handbag or jacket while sitting.
